Geni
If you haven't heard yet. I've just gone to work for an LA startup called Geni.com. Geni is a social networking site for the family. You start by interactively building your family tree, inviting others in your family to help out. Once other family memebers have joined you can use it to store information about your family as well as share photos, messages, calendar, birthdays, etc... It's all Ruby on Rails, which I have come to absolutely love. The site has been getting a lot of good press, as well as a lot of good user feedback. We've had a steady stream of new users and lots of new features to release soon such as Maps and Privacy. Check it out!

Motorator
One of my best friends and my old business parter from Cnation days has just launched an Automotive website. It's currently an automotive blog, but will morph into a full social-networking, shopping site for aftermarket performance automotive parts in the near future. Check it out
