In order to control the environmental impact of this large a group, the rangers had two holes dug. One for number 1 and one for number 2. The number 2 pit wasn't actually FOR number 2. It was for you to squat and crap in a bag which you carried out with you. For most of the remainder of the day, there was a line to use the pit.
